SIHR: THE FOUL ENTITY

Mokhtar Stork

The "Foul Entity" deals with an incident my wife and I faced at home. It deals with 'shir' (sorcery) and involves the 'practitioner of the arts', his 'client' and 'me' for religiously helping someone.

During the week prior to 26 January, 2026, we were faced with a foul stanching entity: the smell of a corpse with camphor. All my recitations and prayers (salat) failed. In resignation I lay on my couch and said to Allah. "I will not turn to other than You. If it is Your will that I should die at the hands of this entity, I submit to Your will."

All of a sudden I got up ... opened my file I had beside my couch and a page fell out from it. It was from almarhom Hadrat Shaykh Izrarur Haq, who was my guest 15 years ago. It asked me to recite in silence this dua the Prophet (s.a.w.) used against his enemies who wanted to harm him.

اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم، ونعوذ بك من شرورهم‏

“O Allah, we deliver them into Your charge (place You before them) and we seek refuge in You from their evils.”

I did so. At the same time the verse from the Qur'an came to me where Allah says He has placed no burden on any soul that they cannot bear:

"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people." (Surah Baqarah 2:286)

On checking with Gemini AI, I got to know that the Hadith above was recorded by Abu Dawud and An-Nasa’i. It was famously recited by the Prophet (s.a.w.) when he faced a particular people or adversary.

The Metaphor: The phrase: “Place You in their throats/chest (fi-nuhurihim)" is a linguistic way of asking Allah to intercept the enemy’s power at its source and to repel their aggression before it can reach you.

Purpose: It is a dua for divine protection, asking Allah to handle the situation on your behalf and to shield you from any harm or malice others might intend.

I then went up to my main bedroom were this foul entity was present and recited this dua. I also brought a long my written copy of my Shaykh's Tarwiz, given to me when I became his murid.

WHY THE ENTITY SHRANK and Was Trapped

It do not have permission to present this Tarwiz because it is only meant for murids and not to be advertised. There are also many variants to this Tarwiz perfected by many Sufi Shaykhs. I am familiar with all these variations and their effects. My Shaykh's trapped the entity. The Tarwiz contains a 'Containment', a Diminishmentad a Final Seal.

On doing so that entity shrank and to keep hiding in other parts of the house. I was extremely relieved and thankful to Allah. At that point in time I realised the meaning of Tawwakal in Allah.

WHY WAS I ATTACKED?

As an Ustad and a Sufi, its normal for individuals to turn to me for advice and help. This is an obligatory duty on all Muslims. However, after this episode, I realised that one should investigate situations more carefully before offering "spiritual instructions".

Apparently, the person I helped had an admirer and he could not get to her because I had become her shield,  so he went to this 'practitioner of the arts' (bomoh) to acquire his services. This was the reason why I was attacked.

I also had a dream which was confirmed the next day by Allah's will through WhatsApp, where the person concerned mentioned that she had an admirer and that she liked him. On reading this message, I immediately  absolved myself and I said that I am no longer involved. I then knew the reason why I was attacked by the entity.

I then addressed the owner of the entity in my bedroom saying: "What I did to help the individual was done in Allah's name as a servant of Allah, in good faith. You in turn did so to earn a living. That is the way you earn your living. In doing so you hurt a servant of Allah and will face the consequences in due time. I have absolved myself from serving this person, so kindly leave us a lone.

There has been no further disturbances and the matter has ended. My advise is not to just go helping anyone without looking into the problem in depth. (Mokhtar Stork 30 Oct 2026)
